Microsoft Azure

Azure design, migration, and operations with named owners: identity, landing zones, cost control, and workloads that stay accountable after go-live.

Azure that leadership can defend

We treat Azure as an operating estate, not a one-time lift. Architecture, identity, and cost stay tied to who owns the outcome.

  • Landing zones and subscription design that match how your teams actually work
  • Hybrid and cloud identity with Entra ID, conditional access, and clean join/leave paths
  • Workload placement: apps, data, and line-of-business systems with a clear owner
  • Tagging, budgets, and rightsizing so spend does not drift without a conversation

Migrate, modernize, and keep running

Moves have a start and a finish. Ongoing operations keep the environment stable once the cutover is done.

  • Assessments and migration plans with milestones executives can follow
  • Server, database, and application moves with rollback and communication built in
  • Backup, recovery, and availability designed for the workloads that matter
  • Patching, monitoring, and change control for Azure resources we operate
  • Documentation so you are not dependent on a single engineer’s memory

Where Azure work hands off

Azure work often pairs with day-to-day IT, deeper security, time-boxed projects, and fractional leadership when the ask expands.

Migrations end. Operations do not. We stay accountable for the Azure estate after cutover, including the cost conversations most firms stop having once the move is done.

Project cadence

Honest, orderly project management keeps work on track. Milestones are set before the work ramps, status reaches stakeholders before decisions pile up, and scope changes get a conversation instead of a surprise invoice.

Migrations and landing-zone builds use milestones and status checkpoints; ongoing Azure operations keep a named owner in the retainer rhythm.

  • Plan. Milestones and owners agreed before the work starts moving.
  • Status. Regular updates — you should not have to chase us for a status report.
  • Decisions. Trade-offs get surfaced early so leadership can make the call, not discover it after.

Questions we hear first

Is Azure support the same as Managed IT?

No. Azure work here covers landing zones, migrations, identity, cost, and cloud workloads. Managed IT is the broader day-to-day layer (help desk, endpoints, backup, vendor coordination). Many clients run both so Azure and the rest of the estate stay under one operating rhythm.

Do you migrate us, operate Azure, or both?

Both are common. Time-boxed migrations and remediations often start under IT Consulting or a scoped Azure project, then hand into ongoing operations. If you already live in Azure and need steady ownership, we can engage on operations without a full re-platform.

How is Azure work priced?

Projects (assessments, migrations, landing zones) are scoped with a clear start, finish, and deliverable set. Ongoing operations sit on predictable retainer terms for the resources and response we own. Microsoft’s cloud consumption is separate; we help you see and govern that spend, not bury it.

We already have a Microsoft 365 tenant. Do we need a separate Azure engagement?

Often yes when you run servers, apps, data platforms, or hybrid identity beyond the collaboration suite. Microsoft 365 covers productivity and tenant hygiene; Azure is the infrastructure and platform layer. Scoping is where we sort what belongs where, before you sign.

Who is this for in Ohio?

Organizations that need accountable Azure design and operations from a Cincinnati-based firm serving Greater Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, and Dayton. Healthcare, manufacturing, and finance estates are common. Strategy and vendor ownership can sit under Fractional CIO/CISO when leadership wants the seat, not only the cloud work.
